OK let's talk about coffee when you're camping ...

We’re not here to debate the science of how hot your water needs to be or where to source the immaculate bean, we’re here to show you four options to create your morning brew. Yes fellow Outsyda’s we have sat around a campfire and debated this with our buddies … it's coffee and it's serious.

From French press to espresso to drip, however you like your coffee, rest assured that you can create this while camping, hiking or even mountaineering. The result of our heated debates and discussions are as follows.

Yeti Pour Over

As Yeti says: ‘Peak flavour at any elevation’ Matching the range of Yeti mugs, simply drop your filter inside, your desired amount of ground coffee and let the aroma of fresh coffee fill the air as gravity does its job and filters it through. Now, Cherry also owns the Yeti press, and whilst it's designed beautifully, it's an 'in-camp' option. In typical Yeti fahsion it's too heavy, or 'good weight value for money' for backpacking on long trips. Yep, that's right, you're going to need both. But at $30 the drip is not going to break you and it's 100% worth it.
